- Mix all ingredients except vanilla.
- Bring to full rolling boil and boil for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat, add vanilla and beat until creamy.
This was the nastiest frosting ever. It was grainy and it didnt even have a good flavor. I wish the instructions were better.... will not be using that again.. wouldnt even put it on the cake..
The first time mine was grainy too. The second time, I used powdered sugar instead and it turned out just like fudge! Wonderful.
Yes its grainy, but it has a delicious flavour. One tip though, spread this on your cake as soon as it has thickened and while it is still hot. As soon as it hits the cake it will start to harden so you need to work quickly!
